Where Art Meets Stone
I have always been drawn to the beauty of natural gemstones, the way color, light, and texture come together to create something entirely unique. Before a design ever reaches my bench, it begins with watercolor and gouache. Through painting, I explore how color interacts with form and how a piece can best showcase the character of a stone.
Rather than designing around trends, I design around the gemstone itself. Each stone possesses its own personality, whether it is the soft glow of a moonstone, the landscape like patterns hidden within an agate, or the vivid brilliance of a sapphire. My role is to create a setting that allows those qualities to shine.
Every piece begins as a conversation between artist and material, where traditional craftsmanship meets a contemporary eye for design. The result is jewelry and objects created to celebrate the extraordinary beauty already found in nature.
Guided by the Material
I believe the finest designs emerge when the material is allowed to lead.
Many of my charms and objects begin as rough agates, moonstones, quartz, and other semi-precious stones. Each is carefully shaped and polished by hand, revealing colors, patterns, and textures that cannot be replicated.
Rather than concealing the natural character of a stone, I seek to celebrate it. The finished piece becomes a collaboration between artist and material, shaped by both intention and discovery.
